Samsung’s pledge to pare down its smartphone output has not been going so well. Since making that statement the company has launched the Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, Multiple Galaxy A devices, some Galaxy E devices, the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, and probably more we have forgotten about. So then it is little surprise to see that there is yet another range of smartphones in the pipeline, the Galaxy H.
Samsung has trademarked the Galaxy H1 and Galaxy H7 names, which could mean the company is working on them towards a release. Just where these handsets will land in Samsung’s bursting at the seams portfolio remains to be seen.
To be fair to the South Korean company, it has streamlined its smartphones by collecting them into conveniently titled series’, while admittedly this trademark could just be to stop other entities using the names. However, this is Samsung, so expect the probably unnecessary Galaxy H smartphones to land at some stage.
