Is this our first look at the new Nexus 6, camera bump and all?

While we might have gotten our first look at the LG Nexus 5 last week, this week brings us purported images of Huawei's Nexus 6.

The images come from Google+ user Tiesen Fu, and showcases the front and back of what he says is the new Nexus 6.

The image of the rear of the phone shows a slightly rounded back, along with the Nexus logo down the middle of the handset.

There is also a small circle on the rear that could be the rumored fingerprint scanner.

But the element that has us wondering at the authenticity of the images is the raised camera bump on the rear of the handset, which is both bizarre and unexpected.

We can't really understand the purpose of the bump on the back, and a design quirk that was missing in last week's unofficial renders.

The image of the front of the handset is a little more conventional looking and shows a dual-flash and front facing speakers.

But what's inside?

You can also check out the images on Chinese site iNexus as well, which includes Fu's images, and a handful of more images that could be a phone case, including one that shows off a USB Type-C port at the bottom of the handset.

In terms of specs, not much else is given away, though a screenshot of the specs also suggests Huawei's Nexus 6 will come with a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

From previous leaks, it is believed the new Nexus 6 handset will also have a 5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED display, a metal unibody, a 21MP camera and Rezence/WiPower wireless charging.
