We have expressed worries before that the lack of availability is going to hamper Microsoft’s new Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL flagship. The former will only be available via Microsoft directly, while the Lumia 950 will be only on AT&T in the United States. The company has announced today that AT&T will start selling the 950 from November 20th.

Having the support of the second largest carrier in the nation is not a bad thing, but exclusivity to the carrier is and we think the lack of coverage across other retailers and carriers will harm overall sales. Sadly, it seems that this fantastic smartphone will suffer like all other Windows platform handsets and never be given the coverage it deserves.
