You may remember back in January that OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei said the company would launch another handset besides the OnePlus 2 this year. The executive reconfirmed that last month when the OnePlus 2 arrived and now we are getting what reports to be a genuine render of the new smartphone.

Whether that’s called the OnePlus 2 Mini or some other name is unclear, while this render does not necessarily point to a bold new design ethos either. However, it is possible that this handset is metal as opposed to the plastic OnePlus builds with at the moment.
