After bringing out the country’s first-ever Android Lollipop powered device, homegrown mobile manufacturer Intex is now stepping towards providing an affordable selfie-focused smartphone dubbed as the Aqua Star 2 priced at Rs. 5,999.

The dual-SIM Star 2 sports a 5-inch IPS 854x480p display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Just like many other smartphones, Star 2 also comes with 8GB storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The new selfie phone Star 2 offers a slim design and more importantly the company flaunts about the imaging power of the phone which comes fitted with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front one. Such features have till today been completely unheard of in this mobile price range.

Selfie lovers can now click their pictures simply by using the touch screen and volume rocker simultaneously. Available in colors White, Black, Blue and Grey, Aqua Star II fights out in a segment where the likes of Asus (Zenfone 4), Motorola (Moto E) have put in their best.
