The previous two iterations of the Moto G are some of the best budget smartphones in the world, so we're eagerly awaiting the third generation Moto G 2015, and a set of new images have emerged that allegedly show what Motorola has in store of us.
The images, which were posted on a Chinese digital forum and shared on Google Plus, show a basic design that looks a lot like previous handsets made by Motorola.
In the image the textured black back gives what might be the Moto G 2015 a slightly more premium look, and could make it easier to hold in the hand.
Specs speculation
Making it easier to hold would be a good move, as the Moto G 2015 is rumoured to come with a large 5-inch screen, along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and Android 5.1.1.
In one of the shots the rear camera (which is apparently 8MP) can be seen, with a metallic strip underneath.
Other shots apparently show Android 5.1.1 running on the Moto G 2015. As these images come from an unspecified forum, it's hard to tell just how reliable they are, but the photos do seem to be of a handset that sticks closely to Motorola's recent aesthetics.
We wouldn't be too surprised if the Moto G 2015 shows up later this year looking similar to the device in these photos.
