Lenovo has just launched a smartphone that certainly blurs the lines of a phablet and a tablet, although the Chinese company is very much marketing the Phab Plus as a handset. With a 6.8-inch screen, this is arguably the biggest true smartphone on the market, but we are sure our faithful readers will tell us we are wrong about that.
The Phab Plus is clearly pushing for consumers who want the best of a smartphone and tablet, but don’t want to pay for both. It comes with a 6.8-inch Full HD 1080p screen, with a pixel density of 264ppi. There is a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 processor under the hood clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of native storage, a micro SD card slot, a 13 megapixel primary shooter, and a 5 megapixel front facing lens.
A big 3500mAh battery will keep things up and running, while Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop deals with software duties with Lenovo's own Vibe UI over the top.
Lenovo has not said if the Phab Plus will leave its native China, but we think not. Either way, you can get it on all major carriers within the country for the same as $406.
