Sony is holding an event later today at IFA 2015, where it is widely expected to announce the Xperia Z5, but a new set of images have spoilt the surprise showing the handset alongside two other variants; the Xperia Z5 Compact and the Xperia Z5 Premium.
If they are genuine then these high quality shots, which were leaked on the nu.nl website, give us our best look yet at the new series of Xperia Z5 range of devices.
Not only do they appear to confirm that a larger device will be announced, possibly called the Xperia Z5 Premium, but close up shots of the rear cameras show the rumoured new 23-megapixel snappers.
Pre-production model?
The back of the Xperia Z5 Compact doesn't list the camera details but instead uses placeholders which lead us to think the images show a pre-production model.
That means that if Sony does unveil an Xperia Z5 Compact later on today, there is a chance it could look different to the one shown here.
A number of images also show the three Xperia Z5 handsets side by side, giving us an idea of the size difference between the three.
We'll be attending Sony's IFA 2015 event later on today, so we'll bring you the latest breaking news about what Sony has in store, and if these images are to be believed, we could end up getting three impressive new smartphones from the Japanese manufacturer.
